For even more quality and reliability

Tribological testing of maintenance-free bearings is indispensable due to the fact that simulations for friction and wear in solid-to-solid and mixed friction have not yet been adequately researched.

On our test benches, we test our sliding materials in accordance with DIN ISO 7148-1 and 7148-2 on bushings, plates, and pin-on-disk specimens to determine tribological performance. We also offer customer-oriented tribological tests in addition to fundamental analyses and the collection of basic data.

Prüfstand

Chemical and metallographic analysis methods not only are used in our quality assurance but also help us to develop materials or damage analyses.

Wet chemical analysis, dynamic differential calorimetry, and digital microscopy are just some of the numerous methods available to us for dedicated material analysis. Alongside our chemical laboratory, which is focused on inorganic chemistry, we also offer diverse microscopic methods as well as nondestructive and destructive material testing. These tests are used both for daily quality control and also for customer- and application-oriented investigations, damage analyses or material certification in accordance with DIN EN 10204.

DEVA Prüfstand

The finite element method (FEM) offers an essential added value in terms of strength analysis when designing sliding bearings.

The calculations offer us a range of design engineering insights and approaches so that we can manufacture the best possible products for you. FEM is an important element for verifying our products against our customers' requirements. Load peaks in the bearing can be reduced, faults that have been found can be rectified, and their causes can be eliminated, thus enabling us to constantly develop innovative and valid concepts.

Here, functional capability and reliability are by chance but by design.
At DEVA, each product undergoes an individual service life assessment process at the hands of our engineers. This is based on the friction and wear data collected on our test benches. Since the results of tests conducted under ideal conditions are only able to represent partial scenarios, we additionally benefit from our vast wealth of experience in various industrial sectors. We achieve unparalleled reliability in the design of sliding bearing systems thanks to this combination of tests, analyses, and field studies.
